Dr Vanisri Anand, MBBS FRACGP
A Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with more than 18 years across all areas of general practice, Dr Vani has special interests in women's health, children's health, and skin conditions, including skin cancer checks and minor skin surgery performed on site. She co-owns the practice with her husband, Dr Anand Srinivasa, and is supported by the practice nursing team.

A newer initiative
The Weight and Metabolic (WAM) Clinic
An Align Medical Centre program supporting patients with metabolic health, overweight and obesity through practical assessment, education and ongoing multidisciplinary care. Obesity contributes to or worsens a number of metabolic conditions, and a coordinated team approach treats them together rather than one at a time.
Clinics run twice weekly: Tuesdays with the dietitian and exercise physiologist, and Thursdays as long consultations with Dr Vani and the practice nurse.

Align Medical Centre is a mixed-billing practice. That means some appointments are bulk billed and others attract a fee, with a Medicare rebate against it.
Which of those applies depends on the appointment, and the only thing that matters to you is knowing which one it is beforehand. Reception will tell you when you book. Nobody should discover the cost of an appointment at the desk on the way out.
The dental side works the same way: written treatment plans with costs before anything begins. It is the same principle applied twice.
